High heat and low rain chances will linger through the Labor Day weekend and beyond as an endless summer weather pattern holds firm across the region.
The entire stretch of the Labor Day weekend will see heat and humidity more typical of July than early September. With so many outdoor activities on tap this weekend, make sure to take plenty of breaks and stay hydrated. The heat index will reach up to 100 to 103 each afternoon.
