Two arrested, charged after prostitution sting

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Two women were arrested Wednesday following a prostitution sting operation in the area of 48th Avenue North and North Kings Highway.

Erin Baker, 32, and Kimberly Mangum, 23, are both charged with prostitution, first offense.

According to a Myrtle Beach Police Department incident report, officers contacted Baker and Mangum via internet based solicitation services. Police say Baker arrived at about 2:15 p.m. and spoke with an undercover officer, agreeing to $300 for sexual services. Mangum was arrested around 3:45 p.m. after agreeing to be paid $200, the report says.

Online records show the suspects are currently being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail.
