Upstate athletes make college commitments on National Signing Day

PICKENS, SC (FOX Carolina) –

Wednesday is National Signing Day across the United States.

Many Upstate schools will host signing day ceremonies as their student athletes sign letters of intent with colleges and universities.

Some student athletes made their college picks during the first-ever early signing period back in December, but the remaining student athletes can sign in the regular period between February 7 and April 1.

Spartanburg Day School basketball star Zion Williamson announced during a special ceremony in January that he will sign with Duke University.
