Wednesday is National Signing Day across the United States.
Many Upstate schools will host signing day ceremonies as their student athletes sign letters of intent with colleges and universities.
Some student athletes made their college picks during the first-ever early signing period back in December, but the remaining student athletes can sign in the regular period between February 7 and April 1.
Spartanburg Day School basketball star Zion Williamson announced during a special ceremony in January that he will sign with Duke University.
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney will hold a news conference at 2:30 p.m. and USC head coach Will Muschamp will hold a news conference at 4 p.m. to discuss their 2018 recruiting classes. Furman University will also host an event at 2 p.m. at American Burger Company in downtown Greenville to discuss its newly signed student athletes.
