Tonight: A weak storm system will pass through the region with the risk of a few showers across the Pee Dee, but no significant rain is expected for the Grand Strand.
Nighttime temperatures will remain cool with readings in the lower and middle 50s. Tomorrow afternoon will see highs only in the low 70s again, but at least calmer winds compared to today.
The coolest weather arrives on Sunday night with temperatures will drop into the upper 40s across the Pee Dee.
A gradual warming trend will start next week with temperatures returning to near 80 by the middle of the week.
Next rain chances arrive Friday with the trend honing in on Friday night into Saturday morning for showers leaving the rest of next weekend drier.
