Freeze Warning through early Friday, milder air soon

Freeze Warnings will continue into early Friday, then it will finally warm-up to more “normal” temperature levels for Friday and the weekend. Our next rain chance comes Friday night into Saturday, but should be out by Saturday afternoon.

Expect temps in the low 20s tonight for the mountains and upper 20s in the Upstate, so protect outdoor plants and make sure your pets can get warm! Friday brings much milder air by the afternoon with highs back to 57-63 area-wide.

Showers will push into the mountains Friday evening, but should hold off in the Upstate until Saturday early morning. We’ll have a chance for rain before noon, then Saturday afternoon will bring clearing and highs near 70.

Sunday will be cooler, but still fairly mild compared to this past week. Highs will warm to the upper 50s to low 60s with sunshine.
