BROWARD COUNTY, FL (WMBF) – Rapper Kodak Black, who was banned from South Carolina following his arrest in Florence County last November on a sexual assault charge, found himself back in jail this week in Florida.
According to online records from the Broward County, Fla. Sheriff’s Office, the 19-year-old rapper, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, was booked into jail on Feb. 28 for violation of probation.
Information from officials with the Broward County Sheriff’s public information office indicated Octave was remanded into custody during a court hearing.
According to a report in the SunSentinel, the Pompano Beach rapper was in violation of the terms of his house arrest after going to a Miami strip club and a boxing match in Ohio without prior approval.
In S.C., Octave was booked into the Florence County Detention Center on Nov. 28, 2016, on a count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Twelfth Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements previously said Octave would only be allowed back in S.C. for court appearances.
